A song that describes me

It’s quiet at first, striking if a little discordant, emerging from something close to silence by gently tugging on your earlobes. As confidence builds the pace picks up, revealing something with so much energy it might be impossible to stop. Something a little distressed screams over the surface, an urgent wail that really digs away at you, and you give things up to pay attention. Among all this something emerges held together by locamotive force and cerebral relection.

And it’s all in the saddest chords imaginable.

Nostalgia and mourning, rolled together, bursting to live with vibrant cries that long for things never fully appreciated. And then a pause. Resignation. Not soldiering on, not limping on but getting on, doing.

I cried the first time I heard this.
